'Rebooting' a Wildgame Innovations camera??Posted by lsu1987 on 10/17/16 at 6:48 pm
I have four WGI cameras, and two of them stopped allowing me to get into the menu mode to make adjustments. When I press the menu button..nothing. I tried pressing the reset button, but that did not help. Removed batteries, removed SD card, nothing helps. Does anyone know how to reboot/restart the model L08C?

The best thing to do is take the battery cover off and take all the battery's out. Remove the SD card. Open it up and lay it down on the ground while you mix up some quick crete. Fill the inside cavity area with quick crete, wipe clean the edges and close up. Allow quick Crete to harden. Attach to a trot line thru the provided handle on top. Bait with goldfish, bream or sun perch for flatheads. Worms, wieners, or whatever for channels and blues. Works great.

Bought one wildlife innovation camera. It wouldn't work brand new. Lost receipt. Exchanged TWICE for new. The 3rd one I put in kitchen for a month. Zero pictures. Toss in trash and learned lesson. Don't. Buy. Junk.

I have 5 of them and have never had any issues. I would try sending them back for warranty.

It still takes pictures, just every 15 seconds because I can't get into the menu and change the default settings that it went to when I pressed the reset button. I called WGI and they said send it back (if I had receipt and less than a year old) but that's not gonna happen. I guess I will put a 32GB card in it and get ready to look at 15K pics when we pull the card..
But at least it works. Based on previous comments from others I should be grateful...

lsu1987,
Sorry to hear of your problems. I once bought a cheap WGI camera for my son. After a year, it quit working (can't remember the particular problem). A few days later I went deer hunting. I started calling WGI customer service when I left the house and didn't quit until I got to the road to my deer stand. 50 minutes of calling and non one EVER answered the phone and no voice mail. I won't EVER buy another WGI camera. Good luck.
